M. DeVoe attended Pratt Institute as a drawing major in the early 90s, after which she worked as an archaeological illustrator for excavations and scholarly publications.  In the past two decades, she has focused on private fine art and illustration commissions, as well as work for her own pleasure.  DeVoe paints at her home studio on her farm outside of Millbrook, NY.
