About Marcia DeVoe
I left my native Montana to attend Pratt Institute on a drawing scholarship in the early ’90s, after which I became a classical archaeologist. It was my privilege to illustrate ancient artifacts at different excavations in the Mediterranean & for various scholarly publications.
In the past two decades, I have focused on private art and illustration commissions, as well as work for my own pleasure. I paint at my home studio on our family’s hobby farm in New York’s Hudson Valley.
